Upgrades
Items
Before you can upgrade an item, it needs to be put into your warehouse. Likewise when moving furniture between rooms, it needs to be put into the warehouse first, then go to the room where you want to place it and drag it from the warehouse to the room.
Medals left by guests after their stay can be used to exchange for upgrade materials.
4x Beginners Upgrade Material costs either 2 medals + 800 coins or 10 medals. For example, upgrading your TV to one star will increase your rent by 2.
Hotel Rating
Your hotel also has a star rating that you should improve on. You must have the appropriate certificates and a certain level in order to upgrade your star rating. To upgrade to one star, you will need to be level 9 and have 3 One Star Certificates. Once the requirement is met, this can be done via the Setting Menu.
Certificates are given out by Hotel Critics which you sometimes find in your Celebrity guests screen.
Adding a room
To add an extra room, you need a one star rating and some gold.
